Woman Behind the Flavor of Indonesia's Most Famous Instant Noodle Passes Away

Her outstanding merit

During her lifetime, Nunuk played an important role in the discovery of new variants of Indomie flavor. To date, Indomie has dozens of different flavors, such as geprek chicken (smashed chicken), chicken curry, rendang (spicy meat dish), and special soup flavors.

Indomie now has many factories in various countries, from Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Syria, to Egypt.

Indomie has also been named one of the best instant noodles in the world. In the release of 25 best instant ramen according to the Los Angeles Times in 2019, there are two mainstay flavors of Indomie.

Nunuk is now remembered as the “hero” for students who save on food expenses, as the title was previously given by West Java Governor, Ridwan Kamil, on his Instagram post in 2017.
