Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio shared Italy’s readiness to extend aid, notably for youth programs, according to the Tunisian President’s Office.

Luigi Di Maio reaffirmed that illegal migrants making it to Italy would be sent back.

Italy and Tunisia have a repatriation agreement and it is this deal that Italy is counting on to help slow migrant flow from the North African country.
