Rosan added that Kadin has requested information from the Bio Farma pharmaceutical company about the price of vaccines such as Sinopharm, which will be used in the Gotong Royong Drive.

Overseas Arrivals at Soekarno-Hatta Airport Ordered to Go Through Nine Checkpoints

Travelers arriving from overseas at Jakarta’s Soekarno Hatta International Airport are required to go through nine checkpoints, as the government set out to standardize quarantine procedures for Indonesian and foreign citizens alike.

“The Covid-19 Task Force for Air Travel and the Angkasa Pura II air travel insurance company and their stakeholders decided to take the step to improve quarantine procedures during the pandemic,” said Covid-19 Task Force for Air Travel head Colonel Tek Sunu Eko P.

He said the traveler would start by filling out their personal details and flight they arrived in. “We would then check their health documents, to determine if they stay at a hotel or the Pademangan Athlete village.”

Sunu added that the rest of the procedure determines how the passengers gets to their quarantine. Soekarno-Hatta airport has tightened their procedures, after Indonesian as well as foreign civilians escaped quarantine after they arrived in India, the virus’ current hotspot.
