Who is William Wongso?
William Wongso hails from Indonesia and is a legend in the Asian culinary scene where he owns and curates a slew of renowned restaurants in the world including his premier Indonesian restaurant in Geneva.
His dedication and mastery for creating the best Indonesian food have made him a highly respected consultant in gastronomy concerning the archipelago’s plethora of colorful cuisines.
William's love and passion for presenting the best Indonesian food have led him to win several accolades, and he is also the culinary consultant for Indonesia’s national airline, Garuda Indonesia.

His achievements include the Merit du Agricole from France’s Minister of Agriculture and the President of the Indonesian Chapter of the International Gastronomic Society Chaîne des Rôtisseurs.
William earned accolades from the President of the Jakarta Chapter of the International Wine and Food Society, Chevalier Dans L’Ordre du Merite from the Ministry of Agriculture of France, and the Medaille d’Honneur (medal of honor) by the Academie du Pain EBI - Elite de la Boulangerie International.
When he is not busy managing his premier Indonesian restaurant in Geneva and a slew of other business ventures, he is also a writer.
