Health protocols
Qatar Airways has improved safety protocols for passengers and cabin crew. The airline has made several changes such as the use of personal protective equipment (APD) by the crew, including gloves, masks, safety goggles, and protective clothing that matches their uniforms.
The crew has reduced interaction with passengers during a flight. The passengers will be given masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer gel. The airline also provides face shields for adults and children. Passengers traveling from Hamad International Airport will receive face shields at the check-in counter, while in some destinations will be distributed at the boarding gate.
Qatar Airways allows unlimited date changes and passengers can make necessary changes on their destinations if they are still within 5,000 miles of their original destination. The airline will not charge a price difference for trips that will complete before December 30 this year, after which price conditions will apply. All ticket reservations until December 31, 2020, will be valid for up to two years from the issuing date, the statement said.
