Indonesia’s 20 Richest on Forbes List

Forbes magazine has just released its latest list of 100 richest people in the world for 2021. A total of 15 Indonesian tycoons are on the list.

Forbes also updated the list of the 20 richest people in Indonesia this year. The criteria were based on the composition of share ownership and financial information obtained from families, individuals, stock exchanges, analysts, and other sources.

The wealth also takes into account the share ownership owned by the extended family.
Public company assets are calculated based on share prices and exchange rates periodically in a year.

Below are the 20 Indonesian tycoons on the Forbes’ 2021 list:

1. Budi Hartono: $19.1 billion
2. Michael Hartono: $18.3 billion
3. Sri Prakash Lohia: $6.5 billion
4. Prajogo Pangestu: $6.1 billion
5. Chairul Tanjung: $4.2 billion
6. Tahir: $3.3 billion
7. Eddy Kusnadi: $3.2 billion
8. Jerry Ng: $2.7 billion
9. Martua Sitorus: $2 billion
10. Mochtar Riady: $1.9 billion
11. Theodore Rachmat: $1.8 billion
12. Dojo Susanto: $1.7 billion
13. Peter Sondakh: $1.5 billion
14. Sukanto Tanoto: $1.3 billion
15. Alexander Tedja: $1.2 billion
