JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Foreign Affairs Ministry recorded that 4,033 Indonesians living abroad have contracted Covid-19 after 37 new cases were reported in five countries.
"More Indonesians have tested positive for Covid-19 in Singapore, Qatar, Egypt, Chile, and Kuwait," said the Foreign Ministry in the @Kemlu_RI Twitter handle on Sunday, March 28.
Among the new cases, 27 were reported in Qatar, six in Singapore, two in Kuwait, while in Egypt and Chile one confirmed case was reported, respectively.

The ministry also reported that currently, 29 Indonesians living overseas have recovered. Of this number, 20 were in Qatar and nine in Singapore, with no deaths reported this month.
Overall, 3,174 patients or 78.7 percent of the total confirmed cases have recovered. To date, the ministry recorded 177 fatalities and 682 recoveries.
As of March 28, the details of 4,033 Indonesian nationals who have been tested positive for Covid-19 abroad are as follows:
1. Albania: 1 citizen (in stable condition)
2. Algeria: 12 citizens (recovered)
3. Argentina: 2 citizens (in stable condition)
4. Australia: 11 citizens (10 recovered, 1 in stable condition)
5. Austria: 3 Citizens (2 recovered, 1 in stable condition)
6. Azerbaijan: 15 Citizens (11 recovered, 4 in stable condition)
7. Bahamas: 1 citizen (recovered)
8. Bahrain: 38 citizens (recovered)
9. Bangladesh: 16 citizens (14 recovered, 2 in stable condition)
10. Belgium: 16 citizens (recovered)
11. Bosnia and Herzegovina: 5 citizens (recovered)
12. Britain: 107 citizens (101 recovered, 6 died)
13. Brunei Darussalam: 8 citizens (7 recovered, 1 in stable condition)
14. Cambodia: 19 citizens (16 recovered, 3 in stable condition)
15. Canada: 10 citizens (7 recovered, 3 in stable condition)
16. Chile: 3 citizens (2 recovered, 1 in stable condition)
17. China: 1 (recovered)
18. Cruise ships: 199 citizens (182 recovered, 11 in stable condition, 6 died)
19. Cuba: 2 citizens (1 recovered, 1 in stable condition)
20. Cyprus: 1 citizen (recovered)
21. Czech: 8 citizens (2 recovered, 6 in stable condition)
22. Denmark: 5 citizens (2 recovered, 3 in stable condition)
23. Ecuador: 2 citizens (recovered)
24. Egypt: 44 citizens (40 recovered, 4 in stable condition)
25. Ethiopia: 6 citizens (recovered)
