Bali’s Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park Closes Temporarily

Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Cultural Park, one of the popular tourist destinations in Bali, has been temporarily closed until further notice due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The decision was made as part of the efforts to contain the coronavirus from spreading in the Indonesian resort island of Bali. The park began to close on February 1.

“The temporary closure aims to contain the spread of the coronavirus during the pandemic in Bali,” said the company’s General Manager of Marketing Communication & Events Andre Prawiradisastra, adding that it is also expected to maintain the safety of the employees.
