The value of Indonesia’s non-oil-and-gas exports to South Korea for the January-November 2020 period totaled $5.03 billion.

Indonesia’s main commodities to the East Asian country include coals, briquettes, stainless steel products, plywood, natural rubber, and pulp.
On the other hand, Indonesia imported electronic circuits, synthetic rubber, processed steel products, and clothing materials from the East Asian nation.
Indonesia’s bilateral relations with South Korea were also beneficial from a foreign investment standpoint where its key trade partner was its seventh-largest foreign investment last year with a total investment of $1 billion. Earlier in 2015-2019, South Korean investments in Indonesia totaled $6.9 billion for 12,992 projects.
