He has also called for stronger law enforcement in the supply reduction strategy led by the National Narcotics Agency.

The proposed initiatives are responses to the high supply and demand of narcotics which Ma’ruf Amin mentioned in his speech.

Narcotics has what Ma’ruf calls a multi-dimensional impact and poses a serious threat. The impact can be seen in various sectors from health to the economy.

At the event, the Indonesian Vice-President announced the launch of a portal to report the country’s civil servants who are involved in narcotics.

The new portal is part of the National Narcotics Agency’s One-Stop Service.
