Indonesian Minister of Health Apologizes For Jakarta's Bad Covid-19 Mitigation Grade
Residents cross Jalan As-Syafiiyah which implements a micro-scale lockdown, Cipayung, Jakarta, Friday, May 28. The local government implemented a micro-scale lockdown because 104 residents in Cilangkap Village, Cipayung District, East Jakarta were confirmed positive for Covid-19 who contracted during an interaction on Eid al-Fitr 1442 H.

The number of active cases jumped from 7,421 to 10,913 after the holidays. The number of recovered cases likewise increased from 402,374 on May 11, to 408,585 on May 28.
Five neighborhoods in Jakarta are categorized as red zones, while 14 others are designated as orange zones.
