Indonesia Embassy in Rome Holds Virtual Events to Mark Ramadan

The Embassy will also hold online Nuzulul Quran or the revelation of the Al-Qur'an to the Prophet Muhammad during Ramadan. Lastly, the Embassy will hold prayers to celebrate Eid Al-Fitr 1442 Hijriah or Idul Fitri with a limited number of participants

Italy's Statistica survey body estimated that there are 1.6 million Muslims in Italy in 2020, about 2.6 percent of Italy's total population.

These include Indonesian Islamic communities in Italian cities like Rome, Milan, and Florence, such as Nadwah Ukhuwah Roma (NUR), Indonesian Muslim Community-Milan (KMIM),  Indonesian-Roma Muslim Community (KMIR), and Iqra.
