Rusmiati hopes that the Cipayung cattle farm can develop into an alternative form of finding things to do in Jakarta and to become an educational center for students.
East Jakarta’s Assistant for Economy, Development, and Environment, Syofian Thahir added that a Central Unit Production room for milk production has been installed in the area.

Syofian said that the installation strived to support the dairy industry and that a section for dairy milk sterilization and storage have also been set up.
East Jakarta is home to 133 cattle breeders with a total population of 905 dairy cows which Syofian said is considerably higher than the entire dairy cow population in the Greater Jakarta Area amounting to 2,024 cows as of November 2019.
“There are 400 young dairy cows in which 300 reproduce annually and the remaining 100 experience fertility troubles.”
