From Singapore, Parti often sent used clothes to family and neighbors.
While vacationing in her hometown, she often gave pocket money to family and neighbors, recalled another community leader Suripto.
“That is why when we heard about her legal case in Singapore, it gave us cause for worry. We pray that the case could be resolved,” Suripto said.
“And Alhamdulillah (thanks be to God), all villagers are happy now when she has won her high court battle against her employer in Singapore. We did not know that her employer was the chairman of Changi Airport,” Suripto said.
Meanwhile, on behalf of Parti Liyani’s family, her brother-in-law known as Sabikhan said the family only hopes that Parti could return to her hometown soon.
“Our elderly mother asked nothing but to see her daughter Parti Liyani come home and be with the family,” Surya.co.id quoted Sabikhan as saying on Wednesday, September 23.
