TORONTO, KOMPAS.com – Mike Tyson will make his return to the boxing ring on September 12 when he faces four-division world champion Roy Jones Jr.
The much-anticipated event will be shown on Triller, a virtual social media and music platform. Mike Tyson is the former world heavyweight champion.
Mike Tyson will go up against Roy Jones Jr. in an eight-round fight in which the event will be part of a three-hour pay per view event on Triller.
The virtual platform has gained streaming rights to a 10-part docuseries featuring behind-the-scenes, pre-fight footage in the lead up to the big match.
The program will also include a "significant" undercard as well as musical performances.
Prior to the match announcement, Mike Tyson had teased fans about a possible return back in May.
Indication of his potential return to the ring was shown when he posted videos of himself training.

Tyson later said he was interested in returning to the ring to raise money for charity and potential opponents immediately began to line up for a crack at the fighter known as "Iron Mike".
