Around 80 movie theaters across Jakarta are slated to open on July 29.
Movie theaters in the capital city are currently preparing the technical aspects of their job such as restocking new films and ensuring Covid-19 health protocols are adequately implemented.
Each seat in the cinema must have a cover that must be replaced after every movie cycle is complete.
Head of DKI Jakarta’s Tourism and Creative Economy Agency Cucu Ahmad Kurnia has advised movie theater operators to ensure their staff wear masks, practice physical distancing, limiting visitor capacity, and providing handwashing facilities.
