Starting June 15, the Transportation Ministry’s Greater Jakarta Transportation Agency offers 10 free bus services that commuter line passengers can take to travel home from Jakarta to destination points of Bogor and Bekasi.
From June 18 onwards, there will be five buses provided in the morning to transport passengers from Bogor to Jakarta as an alternative to the train services.
Each bus can fit 25 passengers given that transportation services must operate at half-capacity in the new normal transition.
The Jakarta provincial government has also partnered with the city of Bogor in providing medium and large buses with the capacity to transport 15 to 25 passengers at a time.
In total, there are 82 buses that have been provided by the Jakarta provincial government as the new normal transition carries on.
