KOMPAS.com – State-linked China Railway Group Limited (CREC), the biggest investor in Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway project, has officially established its regional headquarters in Jakarta, an official said on Saturday, April 10.

Zhang said China Railway Group has completed various projects in the last 120 years.
Meanwhile, the 12 terror suspects who were recently arrested in Greater Jakarta are unaffiliated with two homegrown radical groups known as Jamaah Ansharut Daulah (JAD) and Jemaah Islamiyah, an official confirmed on Sunday, April 11.

They were arrested because the nature of their actions has contained an allegation of criminal acts of terrorism. The group was on suspicion of attempting to make a triacetone triperoxide (TATP) explosive to attack the police, gas stations, and shops owned by foreigners.

Police spokesman Ahmad Ramadhan said that they all come from a group led by HH, the terror suspect who was arrested in East Jakarta, on suspicion of planning terror attacks in several places.

“The 12 terror suspects are members of the same group. But, their group is not affiliated with JAD [Jamaah Ansharut Daulah] or JI [Jamaah Islamiyah],” Tribunnews quoted Ahmad as saying on Sunday, April 11.

Previously, it was reported that the arrested terror suspects were identified as HH, ZA, AJ, BS, WJ, NAA, and AN. Also arrested were DK, AK, AP, NF, and W.

Ahmad said they were arrested by an elite Indonesian anti-terror police from Detachment 88, or better known as Densus 88 in Jakarta, Bekasi, and South Tangerang.

Even though they are unaffiliated with JI and JAD, Ahmad explained, the nature of their actions has contained an allegation of criminal acts of terrorism. The group was on suspicion of attempting to make a triacetone triperoxide (TATP) explosive to attack the police, gas stations, and shops owned by foreigners.
