JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The tariff on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road will be adjusted soon following the implementation of an integrated tariff on the 36.4-kilometer Jakarta-Cikampek II Elevated toll road, an official said on Tuesday.
The tariff adjustment, Danang added, should have started in December. But, it did not happen because it was not the right time for the increase last year.
It was previously reported that the state-owned toll operator PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk planned to make some adjustments to the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road fees in four areas in Jakarta, Cikarang, Karawang, and Cikampek.
“The Jakarta-Cikampek II Elevated toll road users will only pay toll fees at the entrance and exit gates of Jakarta-Cikampek toll road,” said Dwimawan Heru, Jasa Marga’s corporate communication and community development group head.
The new tariffs for vehicle size classes after the adjustment are as follows:
Class I, 4,000 rupiahs ($0.29)
Class II, III 6,000 rupiahs ($0.43)
Class IV, V 8,000 rupiahs ($0.58)
