Orchid Forest Cikole in Bandung, Indonesia is a Nature Attraction Worth Visiting

KOMPAS.com – The Orchid Forest Cikole in Bandung is one of the most happening nature attractions in Indonesia today.

Adopting the nomadic tourism concept, it recently reopened on March 31 after shutting down due to the coronavirus epidemic in Indonesia.

In keeping with other nature attractions in Indonesia, the Orchid Forest Cikole in Bandung applies Covid-19 health protocols and even provides free face masks for visitors.

Barry Akbar, CEO and Founder of the forest, said that visitors are also subject to having their body temperature checked.

“We also enforce social distancing rules where places are marked so visitors know which are public spaces or sitting areas.”

At this budding Bandung attraction, guests are encouraged to use cashless payments to minimize forms of physical contact.

The nature attraction in Bandung harbors 11 hectares of space combining the concepts of edu-tourism, eco-tourism, and sports tourism.

The natural wonders of pine forests, beautiful hybrid orchids make this forest a great place to unwind with company amid the cool, fresh air.

The lighting effects at this nature attraction in Bandung creates a romantic ambiance as lights are reflected on the branches of pine trees that are hundreds of years old.

The Orchid Forest Cikole offers its Garden of Light attraction which is an interactive light display creating the shape of a flower that changes colors.

As one of the newer nature attractions in Indonesia, its 150-meter wooden bridge offers something different to visitors with enough light to fascinate photography lovers.

Another photo spot at this Bandung-based attraction is its Neon Park and Paphio Terrace although its Orchid House is the main star of the entire forest.

There, guests enter an orchid cultivation center where they can discover the different types of orchids from Peru, the US, the Philippines, and other countries.
