Traveling to Indonesia’s island destination is never complete without sinking your teeth in the complex yet beautifully blended herbs and spices renowned in Balinese food.

“For classic Balinese food such as Nasi Campur, there is a place called Nasi Campur Bu Oki in Jimbaran and Uluwatu,” said Harival.

For travelers or residents in the Denpasar area, Harival strongly recommends the ultra-flavorful chicken rice at Nasi Ayam Kedewatan. Individuals that prefer international cuisines can visit Warung 8 in Bali’s Kerobokan district.

“Warung 8 sits on the side of the road which prices ranging $0.82 - $1.02 (Rp 12,000 – Rp 15,000). The prices are cheap, but you will leave feeling full. People who are late-night owls or those who have to create content, work on their laptops, or suddenly feel hungry can make their way there.”

1. Warung Nasi Ayam Bu Oki, Badung Regency

This food stall is located at Jalan Celagi Basur Nomor 3Y, Jimbaran, South Kuta Regency, Badung Regency.

It offers some of its most recommended Balinese food dishes at an affordable price including its Nasi Campur Ayam Komplit for $2.19 (Rp 32,000), Nasi Ayam Sedang for $1.30 (Rp 19,000), and its Nasi Ayam Biasa $0.89 (Rp 13,000).

The food stall also sells Chicken Skewers and Sayur Urab, each for $0.89 (Rp 13,000).

When you are unsure of where to eat in Bali, then think no more and head over to Warung Nasi Ayam Bu Oki which opens every day 7am–6pm.

2. Nasi Ayam Kedewatan Ibu Mangku, Denpasar

Located at Jalan Tukad Badung Nomor 11, Renon, South Denpasar Regency, Denpasar City, the food stall features a range of delicious Balinese food including its very own Nasi Ayam Kedewatan Spesial.

The menu boasts staple Balinese food dishes ranging from jasmine rice, Ayam Betutu, Chicken Skewers, Sayur Urab, Fried Chicken Gizzard and Liver, Fried Chicken Skin, and Balinese Shredded Chicken.

The food stall is vegetarian-friendly with options such as tofu, tempeh, and spicy eggs are also available as side dishes.

The best part of the restaurant is that it offers takeaway services making it possible for you to try their wonderful Balinese food specialties from the comfort of your own home.

3. Warung 8, Badung Regency

Located at Jalan Raya Kerobokan Nomor 10, North Kuta District, Badung Regency, Warung 8 sells mouthwatering Balinese food including its own Karea Ayam for $1.02 (Rp 15,000).
