A day trip can be inexpensive, and it does not require a long journey and our full-day Bandung itinerary proves just that.
Indonesia’s city of Bandung always leaves travelers mesmerized and easily invokes a feeling of comfort that makes it difficult to return to our original destination point.
It does not take much to miss a piece of Bandung because strolling around Braga Street can amplify such emotions.

Jakarta-Bandung destination train
Inexpensive and hassle-free, the train headed from Jakarta’s Pasar Senen Station to Kiaracondong will have you arriving in Bandung at 1:20pm after departing at 9:15am.
Once you arrive at Kiaracondong, you can take a motorbike taxi to make your way to your accommodation.
Do not be concerned about the transportation costs as a one-trip train ticket costs $4 (Rp 60,000).

A visit to the museum of the Asian-African Conference
The first activity in your full-day Bandung itinerary takes you straight to Braga Street for a visit to the Museum of the Asian-African Conference located at Jalan Asia Afrika Nomor 65.
This famous museum features numerous memorabilia and historic artifacts from the conference which took place in 1955 though it was inaugurated on its 25th anniversary.
Entering the museum is free, however, it is closed on Mondays and on national holidays.
This museum on Braga Street opens Tuesdays-Thursdays at 8am–4pm, Fridays from 2pm-4pm, and Saturdays-Sundays from 9am-4pm.

A Bandung trip to Braga Street is incomplete without snapping a few photos at the iconic spot of the Asian-African Monument.

There are plenty of stores and vendors around Bandung City Hall which offer a wide array of items to satisfy your shopping needs.
Many sell shoes, apparel, and other goods, but if nothing pleases your sight then a visit to King’s Shopping Mall might do the trick.
Visiting Braga Park
After spending some quality time shopping, you can make your way to Braga Park to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of the olden Bandung days.
The park boasts large signage with the name ‘Braga’ which has become a popular photo spot marking your visit to the iconic city of Bandung.
Once you have soaked in all the fresh air, you can proceed to Mie Rica Kejaksaan to order a bowl of delicious noodles.
Unwind at Kopi Toko Djawa
The final destination in your Bandung itinerary before making your way back to Bobobox Pods Paskal for a good night’s rest takes you to Kopi Toko Djawa.
The place was once a bookshop thus do not be surprised if you find tables stacked with books.
While you are at it, drink the Cold Kopi Susu Djawa that has a tasty and balanced flavor of coffee and milk to tantalize your tastebuds.
You won’t need to spend much here as prices start from $1.40 (Rp 20,000) for drinks or throw in an extra $0.69-$1.40 and you can get yourself a donut or brownies with your drink.
Kopi Toko Djawa is located in Braga Street specifically at Jalan Braga Nomor 81 and opens every day from 10am-10pm.
