BEM SI Coordinator Remy Hastian said the action was held at 1pm at the State Palace, urging President Jokowi to issue a regulation to revoke the newly passed Jobs Creation Law.
The controversial law could harm workers and damage the environment, according to the protesters.
Previously, when the massive protests turned violent on October 8, President Jokowi was on a working visit to Pulang Pisau Regency in East Kalimantan Province.
He responded to the demonstration a day after, saying that hoax and disinformation caused the protest against the Job Creation Law. He suggested that those who disagree with the Jobs Law apply for a judicial review to the Constitutional Court.
