Anies also urged Jakartans to stay at home to contain the chain of infection in the capital instead of going to crowded areas that are vectors for the spread of Covid-19.
Jakarta has recorded 66,505 positive Covid-19 cases from March 2 when the pandemic was first traced in Indonesia to September 23. Of thi number, 1,650 died of the disease, while 51,578 recovered from Covid-19.
