The police then conducted the investigation and obtained information about the discovery of a body in the Sungai Subang in West Java.
Members of Jakarta police then worked closely with the Subang police. The postmortem results confirmed that the fingerprints matched with the victim who was reported missing at that time. The police investigated the cause of death by examining several witnesses and CCTV footage.
It was then that the perpetrators discovered that the victim was killed in his house in Bekasi. The police have also secured pieces of evidence such as five cellphones, clothes and jackets, CCTV footage, and five cars.
If found guilty, the perpetrators could face the death penalty or life imprisonment for up to 20 years.
