Mitra Kerinci’s green tea has obtained the fanning grade which is a tea grade ideal for teabags. This green tea variant is shipped to Sheriff Tea in Malaysia.
“This is Mitra Kerinci’s first time to export green tea to Malaysia. During the initial process working with Sheriff Tea, they carried out research and a site visit to our tea plantation in Liki,” said Ondo.

Merger
Indonesia’s Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir plans to merge Perum Bulog with PTPN and RNI as the enterprises specialize in food production. The statement was made on May 22.
The merger is a response to the high price of sugar in the market.
This highlights a significant concern of Indonesia’s food industry which is reliant on imports.
