Maintaining a green zone status
Vice Governor of West Nusa Tenggara Rohmi Djalilah has said that the Gili Islands will be the revival of tourism in Lombok amid the coronavirus pandemic.
“Congratulations to Gili Islands for having zero Covid-19 cases until today which must be maintained by practicing good hygiene,” said Rohmi.
The vice governor added, “If there is even one reported case then everything will start from zero again.”

To prevent new Covid-19 cases, the Vice Governor has stressed the importance of careful planning and the creation of a strict SOP.
Public participation in the adherence of Covid-19-related health protocols must also be practiced.
Rohmi expressed that residents must be disciplined in carrying out the health protocols while also watching out for each other.
If things go according to plan, the Gili Islands will open its doors to tourists on June 20.
