Amid the backdrop of growing Covid-19 active cases, Indonesia has taken the step to restart its economy as parts of the nation transition to the new normal.

The central government has also pushed for more testing to 20,000 specimen tests daily.

Despite the grim figures, the recovery rate continues to surge as 16,243 people have recovered on June 17.
