PEKANBARU, KOMPAS.com - An Indonesian Air Force fighter jet crashed into a residential area in Siak Hulu Subdistrict, Kampar Regency on Sumatra Island on Monday morning. No fatalities were reported.

The ejector seas struck another house, causing damage to its roof.
The village head said he was still unclear about the conditions of the three houses as the police cordoned off the area.
Earlier on Monday, Air Force Spokesman First Marshal Fajar Adriyanto said that the pilot, First Lieutenant Apriyanto Ismail of the Squadron 12, ejected safely from the aircraft when the crash occurred near Runway 36 of the Roesmin Nurjadin Air Force Base.
