JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Couples who plan to get married in Jakarta now must add one more item on their wedding checklists: get everyone vaccinated.

The Jakarta Administration has required wedding couples, family members, guests, and officers involve in wedding ceremonies to get vaccinated following the issuance of a decree of Tourism Creative Economy Agency Head No. 495/2021 signed on July 26, 2021.

The decree will take effect until August 2 as the government has extended the Covid-19 level 4 restriction on public activities (PPKM level 4).

Only 30 people are allowed to attend the ceremonies and not more than 20 percent of the room capacity. The events must be held between 6 am to 8 pm local time. No meals are allowed to be served during the ceremonies. The meals can only be provided in a closed area and to be taken home.
