KOMPAS.com - Indonesia's Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy will speed up the development of the 309-hectare Borobudur Highland tourism area in the Menoreh hills, Central Java.

The acceleration of the construction includes various plans. One of them is to facilitate access to the tourism area by building roads, which will be carried out by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing.

"The target is to complete it by the end of 2021. We hope this can stimulate the economy and the spirit to recover from the pandemic and economic challenges," said Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno on Wednesday, June 23.
