JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Co-Founder of Indonesia local fast food, Charina Prinandita made the list of the sixth annual Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia, which was officially announced on Tuesday featuring 300 young entrepreneurs, leaders, and trailblazers across Asia.

The curation process of the list is quite strict. Charina Prinandita, 29, is one of several Indonesians on the prestigious list.

Charina is included in the Forbes 30 under 30 Asia list in the Arts category. Those who are included in this list are young people who have succeeded in doing business creations in various lines, from the food and beverage sector to fashion.

In 2016, Charina and two colleagues founded Eatlah, a local fast-food outlet with various local menus. One of their trademarks and best-sellers is chicken rice with salted egg sauce. Currently, the food outlets have 23 outlets across six cities in Indonesia.

Many businesses have been hard hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, including fast-food business.
The fast-food outlets have also been affected by forced closures and stay-at-home orders amid the pandemic. Eatlah outlets are no exception as eight of their 23 outlets were located in the Mall, Charina said.

"We have eight outlets in the mall and our business has been affected when many malls are closed," said Charina during the sixth episode of virtual ShopeePay Talk on Wednesday, March 17.

Besides Charina, two other women are featured in the list of 30 under 30 in the category of the Arts, namely Kathleen Gondoutomo, 28, and Liana Gonta Widjaja, 28.

Kathleen is the founder of H! Cups, a beverage company operating in rural areas. Based on her experience at Kraft Heinz, she strives to empower women who do not work in the Indonesian cities.
