BREAKING NEWS: Shooting at National Police Headquarters in Jakarta

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – A shooting, which is suspected as a probable terror attack, took place at the National Police headquarters in Jakarta on Wednesday, March 31.

A bystander’s video showed that a person who dresses in black was trying to enter the National Police headquarters premises.

Kompas TV’s footage showed that the person fell to the ground. At the time of publication, no official statement was issued by the police.

The incident occurred just a few days after the National Police conducted several raids against suspected terrorists, including the suicide bombing in the Indonesian city of Makassar on Sulawesi island Sunday, March 28. The terrorist act in Makassar was allegedly carried out by the Jamaah Ansharut Daulah (JAD) terror group.
