Faizasyah declined to confirm House of Representatives Commission I on Defense, Intelligence, Foreign Affairs and Information legislator M. Farhan when he identified the German Embassy personnel as Suzanne Hall.

Farhan claimed that Hall was a member of the German Intelligence Service or ‘Bundesnachrichtendienst’ (BND), based on Indonesian sources in Berlin on Sunday, December 27.

He also questioned why Hall was not declared persona non-grata or blacklisted by the Indonesian government, as recommended by Commission I.

The FPI organized the so-called 18/12 demonstration along with an affiliate called the National Anti Communist Alliance (ANAK) to protest the arrest of their chief Rizieq Shihab.

The vigilante group also used the demonstration to highlight the killing of six of their members at a toll road outside Jakarta by the police earlier this month.
