KOMPAS.com – If you’re taking a long-distance journey this year-end holiday, don’t forget to bring your rapid antigen test results.
Luckily, several train stations in Indonesia offer the rapid Covid-19 tests helping travelers making a journey between December 22, 2020 and January 8, 2021.
State-owned company and main train operator, Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI), provides the rapid Covid-19 tests for only Rp 105,000.

Here is a list of the train stations in the country offering rapid antigen tests:
To avoid potentially long queues and any hindrances to your journey, travelers are advised to take the rapid Covid-19 tests one day in advance at any of the train stations in Indonesia.
This is partly because the results of such tests require more time than an antibody test.
“The provision of this service is a symbol of KAI’s commitment to supporting the national government’s measures to enforce strict health protocols on train services,” said KAI EVP Corporate Secretary Dadan Rudiansyah.

Making available rapid antigen tests at train stations in Indonesia is to provide convenience for train users even though they can also obtain such tests at hospitals or clinics.
