December 11, 2020, 07.21 PM – The popular mangrove forest in Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK), Jakarta is open amid the Indonesian capital city’s transitory large-scale social restrictions (PSBB).

Locally known as Mangrove Nature Park, our Jakarta travel guide takes you up north near the elite PIK area to feature this spectacular site to visit.

With the central government and Covid-19 Task Force recommending that families avoid traveling for Christmas and New Year’s, now is the perfect time to visit this Indonesia mangrove forest in Jakarta city.

In keeping with the transitory PSBB regulations, the number of visitors has been limited and so has the operational hours.

Buying tickets

With the Covid-19 epidemic still a concern, this Indonesia mangrove forest in Jakarta applies an adapted approach for purchasing entrance tickets.

All entrance tickets to the location must be bought directly at the park, but here is the catch: If the park has reached its visitor capacity, staff will stop selling entrance tickets where visitors will have to take turns with exiting guests.
