JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Indonesian President Joko Widodo has signed the controversial Job Creation Law nearly a month after its approval.
The Indonesian President’s signing means that the law is now in effect.
The Job Creation Law, also called the Omnibus Bill, was first approved by the Indonesian House of Representatives and after several drafts, the final version consists of 1,187 pages.

Filed under Law Number 11 Year 2020 about Job Creation, the document has been divided into 15 chapters and contains 186 articles.
Indonesia’s State Secretariat has uploaded the Omnibus Law on its website on Monday night.
