KOMPAS.com – During your visit to Bali, you can rest assured that Covid-19 health protocols are properly implemented in all its 425 hotels, according to Chairman of Bali Tourism Board IB Agung Partha Adnyana or Gus Agung.
“There are 425 hotels in Bali that have earned certifications for following through on Covid-19 health protocols. We will share the names of those hotels namely because Bali is one of the main focuses of Indonesia’s Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. As such, we have been tedious in our certification process,” said Gus Agung.
The objective of the Covid-19 health protocol-related certification for hotels in Bali is to provide a sense of security among travelers during their visit to the island and specifically when they stay at one of the certified hotels.

“We cannot allow ourselves to not abide by health and safety regulations,” said Gus.
Gus said that the regional government is concentrating its efforts on certifying hotels in Bali to maintain the island’s standing as a tourist destination even during a pandemic.
Bali’s hospitality sector has been particularly hit hard by the Covid-19 crisis, however, Gus underscored the importance of all hotel operators observing proper health protocols.
No big promotions
Although there are 425 hotels in Bali that are Covid-safe concerning health protocols, Gus said that the government does not intend to conduct big tourism promotions.
