JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Indonesia’s Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir has installed Gen. Alexander Kaliaga Ginting, retired one-star army general, as president commissioner of drug maker PT Kimia Farma Tbk at its annual shareholder’s meeting on July 29.
Alexander, who is also a special staff to the Minister of Health for Development and Health Financing, replaced Untung Suseno Sutarjo. Alexander is one of several army or police generals who have been appointed to a civilian job at a state-owned company since Erick has held the minister post on October 23, 2019.
The meeting also appointed Musthofa Fauzi as an Independent Commissioner to replace Wahono Sumaryono, while the composition of the company’s board of directors remains the same.
