NEW YORK, KOMPAS.com — Mary Trump’s book on President Donald Trump has sold close to a million copies on preorders alone.
Mary Trump’s book publisher, Simon & Schuster, stated that it had sold a company record of 950,000 copies in combined print, digital, and audio editions since it was available for sale this week.
Mary’s Trump’s book “Too Much and Never Enough” is another anti-Trump book from the publishing company.
Simon & Schuster also published former National Security Advisor to President Donald Trump, John Bolton’s book “The Room Where It Happened.”
His book sold nearly 800,000 copies in its first week when released in June.
President Donald Trump and his allies made attempts to stop Mary Trump’s book and that of John Bolton’s publication from being published.
Both the president and his allies accused Bolton of revealing classified information.
Now, they are claiming Mary Trump violated a nondisclosure agreement.
Judges overruled each case denying the president and his team’s requests for injunctions.
In favor of Mary Trump
On Monday, a judge lifted an order that had previously blocked her from publishing and distributing her work.
The move meant that Mary Trump has been given the freedom to issue her scathing memoir about her uncle, President Donald Trump.
President Trump’s brother also objected against the publication of Mary Trump’s book.
