JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Lotteria, one of the big fast-food chains from South Korea, will close permanently from June 29 after almost a decade of serving chicken, burger and snacks to its Indonesian customers.
The announcement was published on its official Instagram and Facebook accounts on June 19.
“Thank you for trusting Lotteria for the past nine years. We have shared sweet memories in Lotteria,” the statement said.
“With a heavy heart we are announcing that all Lotteria outlets will close permanently starting from June 29, 2020,” the statement added.

The restaurant called on its loyal customers to immediately redeem points in the L.Point Card for favorite menu items. The sufficient points can also be redeemed for reward in Lotte affiliations in accordance with the terms and conditions.
Its favorite menu include Chicken Buldak, Chicken Ganjong, Cupbap Bulgogi and various burgers.
More than 1,500 netizens responded to its Instagram post, asking to know the reason behind the closure.
“Why do you close down the restaurant. The place is quite full of customers,” said Happysandjaya.
“We have fond memories here @lotteriaindonesia,” wrote Indriendah.
