SOLO, KOMPAS.com – Solo Mayor FX Hadi Rudyatmo said that he will report all Covid-19 donations received from various agencies to Indonesia’s Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to promote transparency and part of the corruption prevention efforts.
Mayor Rudy said that each donation received by the Solo Administration is well documented, replete with receipts.
“The aid for Covid-19 response will be reported to the KPK. Therefore, not a single cent will be omitted,” he said in Solo, Central Java.

The mayor said all assistance received in cash or in kind, health equipment as well as staple food will be audited by the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK).
“Everything will be reported. When it comes to Covid-19 response, I will assume all related expenses. For example, there was a need for four television sets yesterday and people donated two units, so I bought the other two,” he said.
All donations will not only be distributed to the public but also to health workers at all hospitals and health centers in Solo.
Reporting the Covid-19 aid to the KPK is a form of public transparency and corruption prevention effort.
“The donations are many. Some are distributed to the health workers and some are given to the public. The social assistance program from the central government will also be documented. We will attach the soft copy to the KPK,” he said.
Rudy is the President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo’s former deputy when Jokowi was elected Solo mayor at his hometown in 2005.
