KOMPAS.com - The Indonesian government continues to receive international assistance in the form of medical equipment, following a severe second wave of Covid-19 that claimed over 67,000 lives in the country.

After a week of record-breaking new daily cases, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that other countries had offered aid in the form of vaccines, medicines, and other medical supplies. Among them are the US, the Netherlands, Australia, Japan, the UK, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, India, China and other international organizations.

Medical assistance from Singapore in the form of oxygen cylinders, oxygen concentrators, and ventilators arrived on Friday, July 9.
